Some real world airline liveries would’ve been nice as well. I just wish it came with some way to choose either all passenger or freight types rather than just a default split passenger/freight interior. All of the lighting looks really great and well this is a Carenado product so you get quality as expected.
No I don’t have auto mixture on, I use full realism across the board with no “auto” anything enabled. The mixture levers have no apparent influence on flight at any altitude whatsoever. Beautiful aircraft inside and out that is highly detailed. The plane then reloads with the expected correct spot view just don’t hit cntl & space in spot or chase camera views or it’ll reset the plane back to being a tiny little bird in the distance, but zooming in or out is ok. I’ve found the only way to correct this is to intentionally crash the plane into a building while in spot cam view before doing anything else after starting a new flight. Of course you can zoom in but it does so with an unnatural view aspect of the plane. Other than what the previous review stated my only complaint is that the default external spot view has the plane zoomed out really really far.

I even checked out the YouTube videos (mostly put out by VATSIM), and was still impressed.īUT - seems like the developer no longer supports the product. The price is a bit steep, at around $66 USD, but it still looks good. With the VATSIM group, they even fly a 2-man cockpit crew on-line. Okay, so I think I'll take a closer look, and I'm impressed. Supposedly, it's actually being used to train some airline-types, that's how realistic it is.
So when someone told me about the Leonardo Maddog, and how it beats the pants off the MD-80 Super Pro, I had to check it out. But over-all, everything works, and I fly it quite a bit. Well, I purchased the Coolsky MD-80 quite some time ago, and I love it! It does have its quirks - flying along at F元30, on course, with VNAV, LNAV and the auto-throttle taking care of business, all of a sudden I'm 20º off course, dropping like a rock and the veral seconds later, everything recovered, and the A/C actually got itself back on course and climbed back to the assigned altitude.
